As advertised it's intelligently designed and was easy to put together. Both dumbbells plus stand probably took around 45 minutes by myself. The weights are easy to adjust and allow for super sets or drop sets. They have been transformative in my home gym experience and fitness journey. Not cheap for some, but worth it if you can afford it.
When it comes to cardio, our home gym was already well equipped - we had a treadmill and a Garmin smart trainer. We also added a punching bag, weight vests, and a sling trainer. But as a couple heading towards 54, we realised it was time to focus more on resistance training.
We didn’t want to clutter the space with forty different dumbbells, so we opted for the NÜOBELL S240, mainly because of its excellent reviews and the impressive 40kg range. So far, we’re very happy with the choice. Will we - or rather, my husband - ever need the full 40 kg? Who knows. But better safe than sorry.
One small note: if NÜO offered a stand with wheels, we’d have bought it in a heartbeat. But since they don’t, we had one custom made - problem solved.
De SS 24 gekocht, helemaal geweldig. Goede grip, makkelijk verstellen en vooral geen kunststof onderdelen. Alles metaal en wisselt gewicht fantastisch. Investering meer dan waard, had het eerder moeten doen! Levering in Nederland was ook snel en met vriendelijke bezorger.

Love the ease of changing weights by turning the handle. The updated weight to 100 lbs. and the improved materials and construction is what sold me. So far I am loving using them for my workouts.
I started back up with weight training a couple months ago. I have no intention of going to a gym, and I have limited space in my house to devote to a workout area (my home office does double duty as a workout room). I started out with two sets of fixed-weight dumbbells but soon discovered that I needed a wider range of weights - sometimes heavier, sometimes lighter. I invested in the Nuobells 580 and am very happy with them. It's helped me expand the range of exercises I can do tremendously. The mechanism to switch from one weight to another (twisting the handle) at first was tight and seemed to get jammed somewhat, but as I've been using them more it's become easier to switch weight amounts. I highly recommend this set. The green color looks cool too!
After owning Powerblocks U32, first generation Nüo Flexbell and Ironmaster quicklock 32 dumbbells, I think after 3 weeks of daily usage I can give first impressions, and Nuobell S are just so much better at almost everything. They look absolutely amazing; the grip is slightly thinner with perfect knurling. They are slightly off-balanced at low weights, but that makes no significant impact; you only notice it if you really want to pay attention. The only downside is still just that you aren't allowed to drop them. In that case, buy Ironmaster.
I've been wanting these for SO long and finally bought them. They are beautiful and very well made. Unfortunately they are too wide for the exercises I need them for. Can't get them between my legs for devils press and they're just not optimal for exercises where you have to swing the weights, as they do rattle a bit. They are great, just not perfect for me.
