Having owned the Nuobell 580's previously, I recently upgraded to the Nuobell S 5100 and am thoroughly impressed with the improvements. The absence of side rails gives them the authentic feel of traditional dumbbells, which I greatly appreciate during workouts. The 5-pound increment adjustments are perfect for progressive training, and they offer better value per pound compared to the Rep x Pepin FAST Series. Most importantly, the Nuobell S 5100 has a superior look and feel in hand, making them my preferred choice for adjustable dumbbells. Received them 3-4 days after ordering them so great service also! Great job Nuobell.
First off, I love the fact these actually resemble actual dumbbells. No surrounding cage or odd shape. Changing the weight is a breeze and the aesthetics of the dumbbells are great! They receive 4/5 stars because of the length when using 100lbs (a bit long), when others have done more weight with less length, and the fact that these are not compatible with the stand. I ordered the dumbbells and stand only to later realize they don't fit the stand. This wasn't noted anywhere on the website or instructions. I reached out to customer service who definitely apologized for the issue and said adapters would be coming soon and I would receive them at no additional charge. But I spent way too much time during setup thinking I did something wrong because they just didn't fit on the stand. I'm currently using heavy duty zip ties to secure them onto the stand. Other than that, I wish the went up to heavier weight considering the length. I would still recommend and show them off every chance I get!
I'm genuinely impressed with both the quality of the product and the speed of delivery. Everything was packaged securely, and the item looks even better in person than online. Overall very happy. They are a bit noisier than I thought they would be but not a deal breaker at all. They are a bit sharp/uncomfortable for goblet squats but I guess that’s not really what they’re made for. Only reason I’m giving 4 and not 5 stars is because one of the plates is bumpy and has cosmetic imperfections. Just thought at $800 there should be tighter quality control

Hey! The stand is nice and robust. The footprint makes sense in my space and fits nicely. If I had one complaint or suggestion, is to have an option for a stand with castor plates, so the stand could be wheeled around for ease and efficiency during sessions.
Designed to almost perfection! A good set and looks good! Price could be better as there is lots of other manufacturers presenting identical models! What matters is that they last! These guys must not be dropped! That takes away points when receiving credit! As one of the best!!
