Ordered the dumbbells from amazon and this part arrived cracked. One of the specific reasons I chose these was because the company sells spare parts. This set of dumbbells is awesome. 67 year old former bodybuilder (not competition) and 61 year old novice wife. We're at opposite ends of the weight-lifting capability spectrum. With this set we can workout together. Changing from 50 pounds to 10 takes no time, and it's working perfectly for us.
I've seen some reviews about the dumbbells being out of balance, and wanting to rotate in one's hands. I didn't really notice until someone pointed it out. They do, a little, but I'm lifting to increase or maintain my strength, and a little secondary resistance for my grip isn't a negative. To the contrary, I see it as a bonus.
That said, I'm delighted with these weights and have zero post-purchase regret.
I’ve had Iron Master dumbbells and I have to say this is quite the upgrade! Love the quick weight change. Very solid and can be held on end too! Plates do not move. I highly recommend this set!
